All Fairfax County Senior Centers and Adult Day Health Care Centers are closed to participants until further notice. Virtual Activities are available.
Explore websites to stay informed, engaged and connected while you practice social distancing and self isolation. Virtual activities simulate real objects and activities. For example, visit a museum or walk in a garden.

Let the Music Play!
Summer park performances may have been sidelined by the COVID-19 pandemic, but live music will play on through August in our Live Streamed Summer Entertainment Series. The free, family-friendly entertainment is brought to you by the Fairfax County Park Authority in partnership with the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and generous sponsors through the Fairfax County Park Foundation.

Life is full of changes; everyone experiences changes across the lifespan which can bring about a sense of loss. We Care Management will provide an opportunity, amongst a small group of caregivers, for you to share your experiences with others on a similar journey, and find ways of adapting to
those changes.
Mindfulness Art Class
This Virtual Mindfulness Art Class, facilitated by Jody Tompros, will expand your creativity, help you slow your breathing, and relax and replenish your inner-resources.
Saturday, August 8 OR Saturday, August 22 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Participants receive a stipend while
attending training, searching for a
job, and building their skills at a
local non-profit organization.
If you are age 55 or older, currently
unemployed, and meet certain
financial criteria, you may be
eligible. Contact a SCSEP team
member today to find out if SCSEP is
right for you!
