The ‘Trips of Necessity’ are weekly trips to an area where you may shop for food, clothing and any necessary items needed for the home. The scheduled trips are posted in the enclosed case in the foyer and in the newsletter.
Sign up for these trips no later than the Friday before the Monday in the purple binder, or by calling 703 765-4573 to sign up. Payment for the ‘Trip of Necessity’ is on the day of the trip. Cost is $1.
You will receive a slip of paper with the Phone Number of the Center. In addition, it is recommended you write down on a slip of paper the time and location of pick up. It is advisable, especially in large shopping areas, to put down some ‘points of reference’ of your location of, such as, hairdresser at the corner.
Remember it is your responsibility to find the pick-up location of the bus and the time of departure.
