HHSC Advisory Council	1st Thursday September 5, 2024 October 3, 2024 November 7, 2024	10 a.m.	HHSC Advisory Council consists of board positions and members-at-large voted in by the membership of Hollin Hall. Designed to fundraise, address concerns of membership to HH Staff, fund requests of membership need that will enhance the programs, clubs, and activities at the center. New board members are elected in November before each new calendar year. All center members are welcome to attend these meetings.
Ikebana International	Every 1^st Wednesday	9:30 a.m.	Ikebana is a style of flower arrangement that started in Japan. The style is minimalistic and emphasizes the use of space and line. One can have a beautiful arrangement using one, two or three stems, branches and greens. *This is an outside group meeting monthly. Must be an Ikebana member to attend. Mt. Vernon House and Garden	Every 2^nd Wednesday	9:30 a.m.	The Mount Vernon House and Garden Club is a social community organization devoted to creating and fostering ideas for the home, the arts and gardening. Meetings feature guest speakers and demonstrations related to these ideas. We also take field trips to areas of interest. Dues are $20 yearly.
Mt. Vernon Genealogical Society Monthly general meeting	3rd Tuesday September 17, 2024 October 15, 2024 November 19, 2024	1 p.m.	Topics of interest on the agenda for each monthly meeting include an array of guest speakers, expert in genealogy. Open to the public. For further information contact www.mvgenealogy.org **Event may be in-person at HHSC, virtual or hybrid format.
Mt. Vernon Quilter’s Unlimited General meeting	2^nd & 4th Tuesday Sep 10, & Sep 24 Oct 8 & Oct 22 Nov 12 & Nov 26	12:30 p.m.	Open to the community. (Drop-in)
